Ondo cancels Easter Services over Coronavirus

Ondo state government has cancelled the special concession granted Churches across the State to celebrate the Easter Sunday/Service.

This decision was taken after due consultations with the leadership of the Christian Association of Nigeria(CAN).

In a statement issued by the state Commissioner for Information, Donald Ojogo said the cancellation became necessary in order to curb the spread of COVID- 19 in the state.

The state recorded its second case of Coronavirus on Friday.
