Leaders and members of the Allied Congress Party of Nigeria (ACPN) in Ondo state have insisted that the Chairman of the Party , Bosun Omosunle remains expelled.
The party leaders had on Wednesday announced the expulsion of the embattled chairman over alleged fraud and anti-party activities.
Addressing reporters at the party meeting, a leader of the party,Akindele Alex said the party resolved to dismiss its State Chairman in accordance with the party”s constitution.
He noted that Omosule who is a former State Secretary of the Alliance for Democracy(AD)between 1999 and 2003 allegedly held a meeting with governorship candidates of other political parties before the election.
The party leaders also accused the sacked chairman of misappropriating money meant for campaign during the last year governorship election in the state.
