Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State has announced a new partnership with Shandong Luqiao, a leading Chinese construction firm under the Fortune Global 500-listed Shandong Hi-Speed Group, following a high-level investment drive to China.
In a statement shared via the Governor’s X handle after the meeting, Abiodun described the engagement with the company’s leadership as “highly productive,” opening doors for strategic collaboration on major infrastructure projects across the state.
Shandong Luqiao is internationally recognised for its expertise in bridge construction, large-scale infrastructure, and its special-grade qualifications in highway and municipal engineering.
The company also holds top-tier contracting licenses in construction, hydropower, and power engineering.
Following the discussions, the firm has committed to partnering with the Ogun State Government to support its infrastructure development agenda.
