The Nigeria Women’s Football League, NWFL has resumed with matches across the country.
The league had been on a one month break to enable the league managers enforce COVID-19 rules and protocols which include ensuring that players and officials of every club are tested.
Match day five produced only seven goals in seven games as the star game of the round saw Delta Queens pip visiting Bayelsa Queens 1-0.
In other games, Osun babes edged Dream stars 1-0, Confluence Queens beat FC Robo 1-0, Pelican stars settled for a 1-1 draw with Royal Queens while Rivers Angels and Sunshine Queens recorded away victories.
