The Northern Elders Forum has endorsed the steps taken by the Federal Government to check the separatist disposition of The Indigenous People of Biafra.
Convener and Leader of the Northern Elders Forum, Paul Unongo made this known while briefing newsmen in Abuja.
Unongo commended Nigerians from the North who recognised the value of peace, for not carrying out reprisal attacks against indigenes from states where killings and violence against northerners were perpetrated.
He meanwhile called on the Attorney-General of the Federation and relevant judicial authorities to continue to uphold the rule of law without fear or favour.
