The All Progressives Congress will strive to ensure that there is no imposition of candidates in the presidential primaries leading to the 2019 general election.
Imo State Governor and Chairman of the Progressives Governors Forum, Rochas Okorocha disclosed this on Thursday while briefing State House Correspondents after a closed door meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari at the Aso Rock villa.
Okorocha says if President Muhammadu Buhari intends to contest for the 2019 APC presidential ticket , he must emerge through a transparent and democratic process.
He believes that despite the influx of opposition PDP members into the APC fold, his party has performed well and is focused on its agenda of delivering good governance.
