Nnamdi Kanu in his address to the open alleges that the DSS is experimenting with him, giving him medication that is not meant for his condition.
“I have congenital heart failure and need surgery, the DSS is patching me up so I don’t die in their custody”.
He went ahead to take off his T-shirt showing Justice Binta Nyako, his bare chest and ribs for the court to see how his condition was affecting him.
“ I should be taken to Kuje correctional facility, I can not defend myself in the DSS facility, I need to consult with my lawyers, I will respond to all charges and the court will see that it is all lies”
Justice Nyako Held that she will not grant any order transferring him to the correctional facility, as there are more than 15 defendants with terrorism charges in Kuje correctional facility that have escaped from the facility.
There are subsisting orders for the DSS to afford Mr Kanu all the medical attention and privacy
“When I make an order and someone is in disobedience of the order it is within your rights to file for contempt, not returning to the court to complain”
