Nigerian wrestler Odunayo Adekuruoye has won gold at the 2016 wrestling Golden Grand Prix holding in Baku, Azerbaijan.
Adekuruoye defeated Russia’s Nina Menkonova 12-2 in the final.
According to President Daniel Ighali, Nigeria Wrestling Federation, Daniel, Adekuruoye was one two wrestlers who raised funds to be part of the championship, the other being Aminat Adeniyi.
Adeniyi failed to advance after tkach ostapc of Ujkraine and Sastin Marina of Hungary.
