The Chairman of Agricultural Products and Equipment Manufacturers, Eric Umeofia, wants more Nigerian tomato products sold overseas.
Chairman of the association, Eric Umeofia who spoke in Lagos noted that the ban on its importation now creates opportunity for farmers and exporters.
He said that tomato farmers in Nigeria needed quality seeds and preservation technology to be able to stay in competition.
According to him, the government was already giving support to the sector.
