The federal Government says it will sell the indigenous Steel Complex in Ajaokuta to private sector operators.
The idea is to enhance operations of the company. The Minister of Mines and Steel Development, Kayode Fayemi said this in Abuja.
Fayemi noted that the government has put huge capital and infrastructure to the Steel Complex but the company would no longer be run as a public concern.
The Ajaokuta Steel Complex was recently recovered from an Indian firm after a concession agreement was revoked.
