Image result for nFFThe Nigeria Football Federation has stated that the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo will host the Russia 2018 World Cup qualifier between the Super Eagles of Nigeria and the Desert Foxes of Algeria.

Reports at the weekend had stated that the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium in Port Harcourt will host the match.

The Rivers State government, it was reported, were said to have accepted request from the NFF to host the match billed for November the 7th.

But the spokesman of the Federation, Ademola Olajire said that there is no truth in the report.

The Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo hosted Nigeria’s last home fixture against Tanzania, a 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier earlier this month.
