R and B star R. Kelly has been arrested in Chicago on federal sex crime charges.
Robert Kelly, was arrested by New York police detectives and investigators from the Department of Homeland Security and is expected to be taken to New York.
Homeland Security’s investigation division and New York police are yet to release a statement on the arrest.
R. Kelly has been the subject of sexual abuse allegations, some of them alleging acts as far back as 1998. He has vigorously denied the allegations.
