The Coalition of Indigenous People of Nasarawa State has called on the Supreme Court of Nigeria to be just and shun technicalities in its judgment.
This follows the decision of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) to approach the Supreme Court to challenge the judgment of the Court of Appeal.
The Court of Appeal had earlier upturned the judgment of the lower election tribunal and upheld the victory of Governor Abdullahi Sule as the winner of governorship election in the state.
Addressing newsmen shortly after a peaceful demonstration in Lafia, the Convener of the Coalition, Kefas Tigga expressed dissatisfaction with the out come of the court of appeal judgment.
