Makinde made the declaration after he led his cabinet to clear waste for a whole night in Ibadan.

TVC News Correspondent, Olutayo Famous-Cole reports,that indiscriminate dumping of refuse on the medians of some major and collector roads has become a source of worry to the authorities in the state.

The governor said his personal intervention will continue until a change in attitude is seen.

Over the years, solid waste management had posed a major health challenge, resulting in the outbreak of diseases, but the government says now that it has found a permanent solution.

Government has also vowed to commence an aggressive enforcement of extant laws that would mean prosecution of offenders until the streets are free
from the filth and refuse.
