Tradesmen and artisans in Lagos have commended the state government for its effort at improving productivity of its members through an empowerment program named LASTAEP.
This was made known during the celebration of its 7th annual tradesmen and artisans’ day and graduation of five hundred (500) trainees and beneficiaries of the program.
Governor Akinwunmi Ambode says his administration recognises artisans as major players for industrial growth.
He also increased the number of the next set of trainees to one thousand five hundred.
