Dami Marshall, daughter of Fuji legend King WasiAyinde Marshall, popularly known as KWAM 1 or K1 De Ultimate, has dismissed speculation linking her romantically with Nigerian singer Asake.
The rumours gained traction after Dami shared a photo of herself with the artiste at a recent event, accompanied by the caption, “Mr Money and Mrs Money,” a phrase closely associated with Asake’s public persona.
The post quickly fuelled online assumptions of a relationship between the two.
Addressing the claims, Dami clarified that the photograph was taken during her first-ever encounter with the singer and insisted that there was no romantic involvement.

“Guys, that was my first time meeting him [Asake], so I took a picture. Do not believe blogs, they can do anything for traffic,” Miss Marshall wrote on her Instagram page, putting the speculation to rest.
Asake, who maintains a largely private personal life, has not publicly confirmed any romantic relationship since his reported split from his Gambian girlfriend, Madame Mystique, in 2014.
