The APC National Assembly caucus from Edo state says it has absolute confidence in the leadership of the party’s National Chairman, Adams Oshiomhole.
At a news conference in Abuja, the legislators charged Governor Godwin Obaseki to issue a fresh proclamation as stipulated in the constitution and have all the 24 members of the State House of Assembly inaugurated.
The caucus further urged all parties concerned to allow peace to reign in the state and work to enhance democratic practices.
The lawmakers described protesters calling for the resignation of the National Chairman as paid agents being used to destabilise the state.
