Chippa United goalkeeper Daniel Akpeyi could be in goal today (Thursday) when Nigeria play Senegl at the Hive Stadium, as first choice Carl Ikeme is a huge doubt after falling ill.
Akpeyi boarded a flight from Johannesburg to London on Wednesday to link up with the Super Eagles after being delayed as a result of a visa hitch.
The former Warri Wolves goalkeeper is expected to have arrived in London today (Thursday), and will have about twelve hours to prepare himself for the friendly against the West African opponents.
Nigeria play Senegal tomorrow before taking on Burkina Faso next Monday at the Hive Stadium.
