The Independent electoral commission has announced Ododo Ahmed Usman of all progressive congress has the winner of the Kogi state governorship election.
The announcement negates the earlier Press Release by the Independent National Electoral Commission that the suspended Election in 9 Wards of Ogori/Magongo Local Government of the State will hold on the 18th of November.
The announcement according to the Returning Officer, Professor Johnson Ozoemenam Urama, the total number of PVC collected in the remaining 9 wards of Ogori mangogo is 16, 6247, which is far smaller than the margin of Victory between the winner and the Second placed Candidate in the Election.
He added that this will not affect the result of the Election.
