A Conflict Resolution and Human Rights group has appealed to the military to intensify efforts in restoring peace and security to areas of conflict in the country.
The group made this appeal at a briefing in Abuja while unveiling the status report on the Ethno religious armed conflict in Nigeria.
The group also called for a 60 (sixty day) extension of the operation ” Exercise Cat Race” as well as a better explanation of the rules of engagement to enable troops operate effectively.
