The federal government has declared Friday, and next Monday as public holidays, to celebrate Eid-El-Fitr.
The declaration is signed by the Permanent Secretary of the ministry of Interior.

The statement congratulates Muslims on the successful completion of Ramadan, and enjoins all Nigerians to use the occasion of the celebration to pray for the peace, unity, prosperity and stability of Nigeria.
