The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) in the 19 Northern States and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) has congratulated Muslims in Nigeria and throughout the world on the successful completion of Ramadan and the celebration of Eid-el-Fitr.
In a statement, Chairman Joseph Hayab described the spiritual exercise as significant and fulfilling for all faithful who follow the teachings of their Holy books.
The celebratory message was tempered by a strong condemnation of the recent killings in Uromi, Edo State, where 16 travelers were brutally murdered.
CAN expressed deep sorrow over the incident, calling it a stain on humanity and demanding justice.
