The Federal High Court sitting in Abuja, has held that the nomination of the candidate for the PDP in the upcoming governorship election was in breach of the party’s constitution.
The primary election conducted on February 22, 2024, was invalidated on the ground that 378 delegates who were supposed to vote at the primary election were unlawfully excluded by PDP.
Justice Inyang Ekwo nullified the primary election in a suit instituted by the aggrieved delegates.
