Customs intercepts cocaine at Tin-Can port

Image result for Customs discovers drug consignment at Tin Can portA consignment of compressed substance suspected to be hard drugs has been uncovered at Nigeria’s second busiest port in Tin Can Island, Lagos.

Operatives of the Nigerian Customs Service who made the discovery revealed that the substance was packed in 8 bags, with each bag containing 25 compressed packages.

Customs stated that the consignment which was concealed in a one by twenty foot container was not manifested.

The shipment was handed over to operatives of the National Drug Law and Enforcement Agency for further analysis.
