The Federal High Court in Abuja, has transferred the case filed by the Nigerian Police against 23 INEC officials, back to the Port Harcourt division.
The twenty three INEC Staff, were accused of receiving bribes during the National and State Assembly re-run election in Rivers State.
The trial judge, Justice John Tsoho, said the argument of the Police that the insecurity in the State, would affect the trial, was not ?tenable.
He pointed out that it was the duty of the police, to provide security in any part of the country.
