President Muhammadu Buhari has expressed deep sadness over the brutal killings of tens of people by Boko Haram in Gubio local government area, Borno State.
The President says the primitive nature of the killings is particularly shocking because it happened not long after Ramadhan, and also when the country is preparing to celebrate the Democracy Day.
Condemning the incident, President Buhari charged the military to sustain their recent string of successes against the terrorists to extract a heavy price from them, and bring back all those they kidnapped.
He also expressed the sincere condolences of the government and people of Nigeria to the bereaved families, communities, the government and people of Borno State.
