Chippa United goalkeeper Daniel Akpeyi is expected to arrive the Super Eagles camp on Monday preparatory to the crunch
world cup qualifier against Algeria.
Akpeyi was called up by the Nigerian team handlers to replace injured first choice goalkeeper Carl Ikeme.
This is his second call up into the Super Eagles this season after being part of the Olympic football team that won Bronze in Rio.
Akpeyi has conceded just four goals in the South African league this season and has kept two clean sheets in seven games.
