Akeredolu gets ‘Most Entrepreneurial Friendly Governor’ award

This was at the Africa’s Young Entrepreneurs Empowerment Nigeria convention, which held in Akure, the Ondo State capital.

Ayodeji Moradeyo  reports that the Africa’s Young Entrepreneurs, A.Y.E, is a platform with a vision to developing Africa’s budding entrepreneurs, through mutual networking and use of established captains of industries.

The A.Y.E brings learning, resources and business acumen of young people together, with the aim of developing young entrepreneurs between the age
of 18 and 45.

The scheme has about 12.6 million members in 20 African countries and this edition had more than 6,000 young entrepreneurs were in attendance.
It was also graced by Nigeria’s Minister of Sports and Youth Development, Sunday Dare and some foreign guests.

The minister tasked Nigerian youths to be more vibrant and think of what they can do for the development of the country.

At the event, the State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu was conferred with an Award of the Most Entrepreneurial-Friendly Governor in Africa. The award was in recognition of his commitment to the development of the youth and industrialization.

The organisers of the event expressed satisfaction that the programme is living up to expectations.
