Image result for Bayelsa federal high courtThe Federal High Court Yenagoa and the National Industrial Court Yenagoa have been grounded for six months due to alleged investigations of Justice H. Ngajiwa and Justice Teseer Agbasu-Fishim by the Economic And Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.

Ovieteme George reports that the situation is of great concern to the Bayelsa State Branch of the Nigerian Bar Association.

The signpost ?indicates Federal High Court Yenagoa, but the padlock on the gate tells a different story on working day.

The occupant of this ?seat Justice H. Ngajiwa has not been seen for about six months.

A few metres away from the Federal High Court Yenagoa is the National Industrial Court presided over by Justice Teseer Agbasu-Fishim, but like Ngajiwa, Agbasu-Fishim has not been around for quite some time.

The Bayelsa State Chapter of the Nigerian Bar Association expresses concern.

State Attorney-General and Commissioner For Justice Kemasuode Wodu informed journalists of efforts made by his Ministry and the NBA to resolve the matter.

While Ngajiwa and Agbasu-Fishim are away, legal activities at the High Court Yenagoa and the National Industrial Court Yenagoa remain grounded, and perhaps the Okaka prison may be swelling with more inmates awaiting trial.
