Oyo State Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Yomi Oke says incumbent 3SC coach, Gbenga Ogunbote will be handed a new contract ahead of the new Nigeria Professional Football League season.
Local media reported that Ogunbote had joined Enyimba with Fatai Amoo replacing him at Shooting stars.
But Oke says that Ogunbote has shown the willingness to continue working with the Oluyole Warriors.

He assured that the state government is doing all within its powers to ensure that he stays in charge of the team.
The commissioner said major steps are taken towards ensuring that 3SC return to the top next season.
