Three people have been confirmed dead, and seven others rescued after a three-storey building collapsed in the Abedi area of Sabon Gari, Kano State.
The incident occurred late Sunday night.
The building, which was under construction, fell and also affected some nearby structures.
Officials from the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), the Federal and State Fire Services, the Federal Road Safety Corps, and the Police are present at the scene to conduct rescue operations and maintain security.
Authorities say several others may still be trapped in the rubble as search and rescue efforts continue.
