Owo Massacre : A year after Catholic Church Attack

It is exactly one year after St Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Owo, Ondo State, was attacked towards the end of the morning mass.

Gunmen invaded the church killing dozens of worshipers and leaving several injured.

According to the figure released, 40 persons were killed in the attack.

The deadly attack left sour taste in the mouths off many as the incident turned some to physically challenged persons.

The church reopened for service on April 9, ten months after the attack.

The identifies of the attackers are still unknown even as the people cannot fathom why the attack was carried out.
