Nigeria is conspicuously missing as the most successful country at the
ITTF African Junior Championships – Egypt
dominated the seeding list in the team and singles events at this year’s tournament holding in Tunisia on April 9 to 15.
The Nigerian team failed to make it to the championship due to the inability of the Ministry of Youth and Sports to release fund for the trip as this gave Egypt an edge in the seeding list released before the commencement of the tournament.
