Senators have commended Nigerians for keeping faith with democracy as the nation marks her 56th independence anniversary.
Speaking with TVC News, the federal lawmakers reiterated that they are awaiting an Economic Stimulus Bill from President Muhammadu Buhari on incentives and measures that will boost the economy.
TVC News Sumner Sambo reports that the lawmakers also use the opportunity to assess the National Assembly’s performance and areas they could focus on to enact more relevant laws.

The senators also say constitutional amendment, passage of the PIB, as well as helping the federal government to cut down on the cost of governance to improve the welfare of Nigerians will continue to top their agenda.
