The Ooni of ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi has partnered the bank of industry to train and finance young farmers with a view to empowering them.
The training is aimed at exposing farmers and youths to the opportunities in Agro-Foods Industry with financial assistance from the bank of industry.
Ooni Ogunwusi said Nigeria is too blessed with arrays of food and cash products to be poor but he added that the problem of inadequate infrastructure, poorly integrated markets among others have deprived it of the riches of its agricultural sector.

The monarch who spoke through his media aide, Moses Olafare said involvement of youths in agro-processing could put an end to Nigeria’s problem of poverty and unemployment.
