Youth group supports over 5,000 vulnerable persons with relief items in Borno

Over 5,000 victims of insurgency in Maiduguri, have benefitted from food and non-food items courtesy of a campaign group, promoting the Presidential candidature of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Kashim Shettima.

The gesture which is part of activities of a Youth Mandate group, is expected to cushion the effects of the Boko Haram insurgency.

People gathered to receive relief items, courtesy of a campaign group known as the ‘Youths Mandate Group’

The group is promoting the Presidential candidature of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Kashim Shettima.

This gesture is being by Son of the APC Vice Presidential candidate and founder of the ‘Youth Mandate Group’ Ameer Kashim Shettima alongside the group’s vice president Sadiq Bunu

It is meant to bring relief to victims of insurgency in the state.

The youth mandate group took time to appreciate the support given to them by the Borno State Governor Babagana Zulum.

They assured that the Tinubu/Shettima ticket is to bring renewed hope for the downtrodden.

The beneficiaries lauded effort of the group for the assistance and prayed for the party’s success in the 2023 general election.

Aside the food distribution, the Youth Mandate group also organised medical outreach and provided cash assistance to the people.

Elsewhere, the group organised a tournament for youths, where Team Asiwaju emerged victorious with 2 goals to 1.
