The Christian community in Yobe state has called on the federal government to publicly declare the state of Leah Sharibu, who has been in the captivity of Boko Haram for a year and nine months.
They’re unhappy with the lack of information from the government.
TVC News Correspondent, Michael Oshomah reports that it’s now about one year and nine months since Leah Sharibu was abducted by Boko Haram fighters.
Since her abduction, Leah’s parents have been depressed and this is a source of concern to the Christian community in Yobe state.
They feel Government is not treating Leah’s abduction seriously enough.
Christians in Yobe state want the government to initiate a rescue mission to liberate Leah Sharibu from her captors.
Nigerians are watching to see if the Government would rescue Leah before she clocks two years in captivity by February next year.
