The Ogun state government has reiterated it’s commitment towards achieving universal health coverage by year 2025 following the establishment of the Ogun State Health Insurance Scheme.
Commissioner for health in Ogun state, Tomi Coker made this known at the pre-launch press briefing of Ogun state informal sector health insurance schemes, held in Abeokuta, the Ogun state capital.
She noted that the cost of healthcare delivery is consistently increasing universally due to the continuous advancement in healthcare services; research, newer drugs, newer investigations, amongst others.
