One of the accusations against men and officers of the Nigeria Police is the flagrant disregard for the rights of citizens.

They openly assault, shoot and sometimes kill innocent citizens under the guise of accidental discharge.

More worrisome is the lack of commensurate punishment meted against the perpetrators of the acts.
