The dethroned emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II, has been relocated to Awe town from Loko in Nasarawa, where he was taken to in the early hours of this morning.
No reason was given as operatives whisked him out of the bungalow amid tight security in a black SUV to a waiting chopper nearby.
Sources told TVC News that he was moved to the new location for his comfort.
Muhammadu Sanusi II was deposed yesterday as a result of several acts of insubordination and was replaced by Aminu Ado Bayero who was before now the newly created Emir of Bichi.
Awe is just about four hours away from Loko and atleast two hours from the capital, Lafia.
