The Vice Chancellor of the first technical university in West Africa, Professor Ayobami Salami said Nigeria must begin serious investment in the promotion of technical education.
He said this during a courtesy visit to TVC NEWS headquarters in Lagos.
According to the Professor, only qualitative technical education can foster technological development in Nigeria.
Prof. Salami added that with The Technical University in Oyo state, technicians who have graduated from technical colleges in Nigeria now have an opportunity to pursue bachelor’s degrees.
