President Donald Trump’s open criticism of the Mayor of Hurricane-hit San Juan one day after she complained of the slow response to the situation on the U.S. island territory is facing a backlash.
On Saturday Trump went after the Mayor accusing her of being influenced by Democrats after she made a passionate plea for help, saying people on the island territory are dying.
This is as concerns rise that the Trump administration has been slow in its response to the humanitarian challenges in Puerto Rico.
