The Ministry of Youth and Sports Development on Tuesday signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Japanese city of Kisarazu for team Nigeria athletes to camp in the organic city ahead of the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo.
The Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Mr Sunday Dare who signed the MoU with the Mayor of Kisarazu City, Yo-shi-ku-ni Wa-ta-na-be, said the development is in line with the ministry’s new direction of early preparation for tournaments.

He praised Japan for its preparedness to host the world, adding that Nigeria looks forward to a successful Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
In his response, Mayor Yoshikuni Wa-ta-na-be expressed gratitude to the Minister for hosting the delegation, adding that his city is proud to identify with Nigeria and its great football achievements at the Olympics.
