A member of the Sokoto state house of assembly representing Kebbe constituency, Isa Harisu, has died at the age of sixty five.
The lawmaker, who was a member of the All Progressives Congress, collapsed during a house sitting on Monday.
He was rushed to Usmanu Dan Fodio University Teaching Hospital, where he was confirmed dead.
The assembly has since suspended its sitting to attend the burial ceremony.
