Members of the Sokoto South Senatorial District of the All Progressives Congress met in Bodinga local government area of the state to chart a better course for the party.
The meeting which was attended by key players from the zone also became a platform to make an appraisal of Governor Tambuwal’s policies and programmes on education, health and agriculture.
TVC News Suleiman Nasiru reports that the meeting also serves as an avenue to appraise Governor Tambuwal’s
stewardship as Sokoto state governor.
All stakeholders at the meeting stress the need for the people of the state to support the key areas of focus of Tambuwal’s administration which are agriculture, education and health.
Women at the meeting commend the governor for his efforts towards encouraging the girl child education and demand that the policy be sustained.
Party leaders also warn farmers who abuse government gesture toward improving agriculture in the state.
Governor Tambuwal who is from the Senatorial District pledges to continue delivering good governance, in line with the APC manifesto
Sokoto state is controlled one hundred percent by the APC with all federal and state lawmakers as well as all local government chairmen in the 23 local government areas of the state, belonging to the ruling party.
