The Senate has ordered its committee on anti-corruption to immediately investigate the circumstances that led to the arrest of businessman, Innocent Chukwuma by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
The federal lawmakers accused the EFCC of high-handedness and victimization as the case is already in court.
They described the resort to self-help by the anti-graft agency as arbitrary and an abuse of power.
