The Standards Organisation of Nigeria is set to initiate harmonized standards in electricity meters in the country.
This was the agenda of a technical committee meeting to assess critical documents that will ensure the implementation of electrical metering standards in Nigeria.
According to the committee, the standards will be domesticated to align with the country’s electricity usage and will guarantee accurate measurement for consumers and service providers.
The electrical metering standards will also ensure uniformity in charges and services rendered and payed for by the public.
