Dozens of protesters braved extreme cold on Sunday to rally for a second straight weekend in support of jailed Kremlin critic Alexei Navalny despite a sweeping crackdown on his allies and warnings from the police.
According to the official report, Local police detained 14 protesters.

Rallies are held across various Russian cities during the day. Rallies were also planned in Moscow later on Sunday, part of a campaign to win the release of President Vladimir Putin’s most prominent opponent.
He was arrested on Jan. 17 after returning from Germany where he had been recovering from a nerve agent poisoning in Russia last summer.
