There are conflicting reports on the outcome of the Governorship primary of the Lagos State chapter of the African Democratic Congress with many stating that former Labour Party Governorship candidate, Gbadebo Rhodes – Vivour lost out.
While the party has not come out to state clearly what transpired or who won officially, the former Labour Party governorship candidate in Lagos State, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, has taken to X to dispute the claims of his loss.
In a post on his handle on GRVLagos_media, he urged Lagos residents to disregard any rumour of his loss in the primary.

Despite his clarification, stories surrounding his alleged loss still continue to circulate on X and other social media platformms.
In a post from an X handle @ambofkwara Rhodes -Vivour is shown in an official result sheet to have been beaten to the third position behind Princess Oyefusi and Owolabi Salis in first and second positions respectively.
While other handles also projected him as winning with an handle also on X @afrisagacity listing him as the candidate of the ADC alongside Obafemi Hamzat of the APC and Funsho Doherty of the NDC.
While @lagosgist_ also on X posted a video where he was announced winner of the ADC’s governorship primary in Lagos https://x.com/i/status/2058820924929896837.
With the confusion surrounding the outcome of the Lagos ADC’s governorship primary continuing to swirl, the days ahead and a clear cut statement from the party will serve as a definite direction for the party in the State especially the winner of the primary.
