Aruna Quadri hopes to bounce back from his defeat at the 2017 ITTF World Championships in Dusseldorf, Germany.
Nigeria’s sole representative in the men’s singles event crashed out of the competition on Thursday.
Quadri lost 12-14, 9-11, 5-11, 6-11 4-0 to Danish star Jonathan Groth in four straight sets after beating Chile’s Gustavo Gomez in four straight sets 11-2, 11-7, 11-5, 11-3.
A disappointed Quadri promised a better outing in the next competition at the Asarel Bulgaria Open.
It serves off August the 24th through to the 28th.
